Verity is a check-in verification platform that generates the exact evidence hotels need to win chargeback disputes. Purpose-built for the hospitality industry, it captures legally-binding guest attestations with OTP verification, geolocation proof, and compliance-ready reporting. Verity is developed by Shadow Solutions, a Chicago-based technology company focused on fraud prevention tools for hotel operators.
Hotel operators face a costly and growing problem: fraudulent chargebacks. A guest checks in, stays one or more nights, pays with their credit card — then calls their bank and disputes the charge. They claim they never stayed, never authorized the transaction, or that the charge was fraudulent.
